It is important to us at H.U.G.S. Ministries that you know that salvation is free and available to you.
Being saved or born again is receiving Jesus as your Lord and Master of your life; committing yourself to follow His word. This is about making life-changing commitment.
The Bible says simply in Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Once you believe what the Bible says, you can pray: Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I ask you into my life. I freely confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you have raised Him from the dead. I turn my back on sin and I commit to follow you the rest of my life. I thank you Father for saving me! In Jesus Name Amen.
That's it! That's just the beginning! Do you know that all of Heaven is rejoicing because of your decision and we rejoice with you!
You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and that is just the beginning of your new life. You want to renew your mind to live a powerful life as a believer (Romans 12:2).
Reading the Bible is important to your growth (Romans 10:17) and going to church regularly to meet with other believers is vital as well (Hebrews 10:25).
Baptism is another important part of your salvation. It shows others that you are part of a new life and you want everyone who can to know it.
It is also important that you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. You will need His power in order to live a Christian life (John 14:26).
We want to help you continue your journey in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus
Christ as your personal Savior or you have recommitted your life to Him today,
please let us know by sending us a praise report. If you have any more questions
about your faith, please contact us and we will be able to assist you.
Let's say you may need a gentle reminder about who Jesus is with what
you're going through:
Just about to the point of giving up? Isaiah 40
Ever wonder if things will get better? 2 Corinthians 5:17
Seems like you've lost your way? John 8:12
Under too much pressure to suceed? Matthew 11:29-30
Said you need a miracle? Mark 10:27
It's never too late to get things in order. The problem comes
when you do not start. You have to start somewhere, why
not start with a decision that will impact your life forever
and those associated with you.
Just know that we LOVE YOU with the Love of the Lord Jesus.
